Professor's Students
During the 65 years of service [both institutional as well as non-institutional], innumerable students benefited from Professor's vast and varied spectrum of knowledge - basic science and mathematics in the high school at Thuraiyur, methods of teaching in a teacher training college at Karaikudi, and Tamil literature, Tamil language, Literary Criticism, Enjoyment of poetry, religion, philosophy, etc in an University, Tirupathi, Andhra Pradesh. Naturally most of them occupied several high and responsible positions in life and in fact, some of them got retired. A select list is here:

Professor's first PhD student; served as Reader & Head of the Department of Tamil, Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupathi, Andhra Pradesh
Dr TJ Raghupathy
Did his PhD under the guidance of Professor, served as Lecturer in the Department of Tamil, SV University, Tirupathi.
Dr Daniel Devasangeetham
Did his MA [Tamil] and PhD under the guidance of Professor; served as Professor & Head of the Department of Tamil, Sri Venkateswara University. He retired as a Principal [College of Humanities], SV University College, SV University, Tirupathi.
Dr N Ghadigachalam
Did his MA [Tamil] and PhD under the guidance of Professor; served as Associate Professor in International Institute of Tamil Studies, Taramani, Chennai - 600 113. Worked in China Radio International , Beijing, China.
Dr R Manuvel
Did his MA [Tamil] and PhD in the Department of Tamil, SV University. He retired as Head of the Department of Tamil, SV University, Tirupathi.
Dr Silamboli S Chellappan
Did his BT in Dr Alagappa Chettiar Training College, Karaikudi. Served as Director, Directorate of Tamil Development, Government of Tamilnadu, Chennai, Tamilnadu.
R.V Subbaraman
Did his BT in Dr Alagappa Chettiar Training College, Karaikudi.
Served as Headmaster, Govt Higher Secondary School in Muthuramalingapuram, Virudhunagar district. At present, he is President of ROMA, a rural development agency in
M Reddiapatti, Virudhunagar district, Tamilnadu.
